Scholarships and Financial Aid

University Scholarships
All applicants that apply by the November 15th deadline, complete the essay portion of the Common Application, and submit SAT or ACT scores are considered for University scholarships.

School of the Arts Scholarships
Music applicants that apply by January 15th are eligible for School of the Arts talent scholarships.  Scholarship recipients will be selected based on academic merit and artistic talent.  The talent scholarship awards range from $5,000 – $12,000 per year and are renewable for up to 4 years.  Explore additional VCUarts scholarships with varying eligibility requirements and deadlines here.

Need-Based Financial Aid
To be considered for financial aid including grants, work study, and subsidized loans, submit your FAFSA form to the Office of Financial Aid.

Department of Music Scholarships
All applicants applying as music majors are automatically considered for Department of Music scholarships.  No additional applications or materials are required.
