Lucas Blalock is a photographer living in Brooklyn, NY. He attended Bard College (BA, 2001), The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2011), and UCLA (MFA, 2013). He has exhibited his pictures at the Dallas Museum of Art and MoMA PS1 amongst others, and has recently had solo exhibitions at Ramiken Crucible (New York), White Cube (London), and Peder Lund (Oslo). Blalock’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Aperture, Frieze, Mousse, and Foam, as well as in the third edition of Charlotte Cotton’s The Photograph as Contemporary Art (Thames and Hudson). In 2013 Blalock released his third artist book titled WINDOWS MIRRORS TABLETOPS, which is available from Morel Books.
