Malawi-born American visual artist and poet Tim Davis will speak to students February 22.
Tim Davis is an American Artist, born 1969. His photographic work often delves into more formal aspects of light and abstraction, as well as socially-engaged documentary. He is the author of several books, includingLots, Permanent Collection, and My Life in Politics. Davis teaches in the Photography Department at Bard College. His awards include the Rome Prize from the American Academy in Rome and the Leopold Godowsky Jr. Color Photography Awards.
Davis will hold a lecture with students February 22nd from 3-5 P.M. at the Grace Street Theatre.
