Photographer, Video and Sculpture artist William Lamson visits the department February 6-7.
William Lamson is a Brooklyn-based artist who works in video, photography, performance and sculpture. His work addresses issues of masculinity, amateurism, science, play and the quest for personal heroism that accompanies these subjects. Lamson received his MFA from Bard in 2006 and his BA from Dartmouth in 2000. His work has been shown at P.S.1, The Brooklyn Museum, Pierogi Gallery and the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe among others. His work can be seen at Pierogi, Robischon Gallery, Arthouse, Caren Golden Fine Art, Exit Art, Vox Populi and Marty Walker Gallery. William Lamson visits the department Feb. 6th and 7th. Lamson will speak to students on Feb 6th in the Commons Theatre from 2:30-4:40 P.M.
